Teacherapp compliance policy

Our teacher vetting process is an extremely important part of what we do here at Teacherapp and this procedure has been designed to be open, honest and thorough.

We have worked with professionals in all fields of education to create a vigorous and fair set of checks on all teachers and support staff – with the safeguarding of children always a priority as well as providing good quality education and care.

The checks we carry out/require proof of, include:
  • Experience
  • Qualifications
  • Enhanced DBS checks
  • Employment history
  • References
  • Photographic identification
  • Proof of address
  • Proof of right to work
When conducting checks on candidates we make use of the following external services and resources:
  • Teaching Regulation Agency
  • Keeping Children Safe Guidelines
  • Disclosure and Barring Service
  • Government Guidelines on Right to Work
Teachers are also interviewed by consultants face to face in order to carry out further vetting as well as to ensure we can make suitable matches between staff and schools.
